Guys, not sure if you 've noticed this or not but I was so surprised to find out this setting in Calendar app, which adds native support for changing notification profiles based on calendar events. This is a feature I was hoping to come from a 3rd party app, but this is better!

That popped up for me yesterday as a meeting started. It's a great feature and worked flawlessly. I always forget to turn my ringer back on after meetings.

I like the idea, but there is one flaw I've run into so far and had to turn it off.

If you have multiple calendars any item where time is marked busy, will kick meeting mode on. My wife and I have each others calendars on our phones so we know what's going on. When one of her "meetings" starts it put my phone into meeting mode.

If you can pick which calendar to assign to meeting mode that would be great.

Also on a said note, why not have the option to chose notification based on which calendar, just like in email?

This is my problem too. I manage multiple calendars and meeting mode kicked on pretty much all day.

Need the option to select specific calendar(s).

If it's not new to 1052, when did it appear? I don't go into calendar settings often, but I don't recall it being there on 10.2.1, though I admittedly don't think I checked on 10.3.

I've been missing this feature ever since I left my Motorola Q (running windows mobile 6) for my first blackberry tour running OS5. When we switched to BlackBerry as our company phone, I remember that the previously silent meetings were suddenly filled with dings and rings from everybody's phone. I'm stoked to see it finally appear in OS10!

It was in 10.3.0.710. I don't recall if it was in 10.3.0.512 or10.3.0.296. I didn't load 10.3.0.700 so can't tell you if it was there.

I'm really digging meeting mode. It's very useful since I'm a student and I don't want my phone to ring in the middle of it.

It's really cool because it's automatic! Props to BlackBerry for doing this built-in!
