Font is insanely tiny and no video clips for me. I'll stick to the CBC android app but thanks for trying

Edit: just tried the CTV News Go app from Google Play and it works great on my Passport--maybe better than the CBC news app.

Plus it's more conservative then cbc ))))

I am looking forward to seeing the next two phones from BlackBerry as I will be pulling the trigger on one of the two.

Hi all,

Loyal BlackBerry Passport SE users here. I have been dealing with the slow death of BlackBerry 10 as best as possible as I only have limited needs. Calls, texts, emails, BBM and Web surfing and some apps.

App support we know is dying and one of the few sites I use to at least can some news is cbc.ca. Is anybody else having issues loading their page and the pictures and videos etc? I am able to read some of the articles but I can't view any photos and I can't even change the city to my hometown.

I am fully aware of the limitations of the browser and BlackBerry 10 but I am just wondering if this is my device or if it's a new website that just won't load on BlackBerry 10.

Updating to 10.3.3.3216 might solve your issue. I tested cbc.ca a few weeks ago and I had the same situation, no video or image. After updating to 10.3.3.3216 it does display images and videos.

My old Android apk for CBC stopping working a week or so ago now. Not sure if there is still any other CBC apps that still work. The CBC website through the browser sucks (in my opinion) .

3.0.3 was the last CBC app apk that I had working. Where did you get 4.1.4?

I can vouch for it........been using it for about 2 years for older versions of apps. As with all app stores (yes, even Google Play) none are 100% safe all the time. FWIW : https://apkpure.com/faq-safe.html
