After great BBM update, my BBM battery usage was always placed on 2nd below Display under Device Monitor. I wiped my phone today and loaded leaked OS Z10STL100-1/10.2.1.2141, seems better but not how it was before.

Can you share your 12 hour battery performance from device monitor. If you have any old screenshot of this screen which has old BBM installed, share that as well.

Based on that screenshot, your display is draining your battery, not BBM...

8.6% BBM is very high. Running 10.3 on the latest 10.2.1.2102 OS I am seeing BBM at less than 1% battery usage.

Could be channel updates in the background, have you subscribed to many?

BBM is not a static running process, its resource usage will vary tremendously depending on how actively you are using it.

If you have BBM open all day and you are continuously chatting, viewing images, sending images, doing video chat, etc... it will use a lot more battery than just sitting there idle or sending an occasional sentence.

I agree with dayno25, the display is clearly the highest battery user there. Which is not uncommon at all, if you have the display on for a long time. (ie watching a video, or playing games for a long time, or anything you interact with on the device)

Yeah this screenshot doesn't show BBM using much battery. I think it is fixed on Z10STL100-1/10.2.1.2141 leaked.

I manage 4 BBM Channels. On of the Channel has 9000 subscribers and very active.

I should add to my previous comment - I wouldn't be surprised if BBM 10.3 is contributing to a noticeable recent increase in battery consumption on my Z10 running 10.2.0, but because the device monitor in 10.2.0 does not have the very handy "battery" function, it's hard to zero-in on the culprit. Hub++ is using a lot of battery power with the current version installed on that device too.
