Hello Crackberry!

I'm in need of a new phone and I don't really find anything more interesting than the both Blackberry 10 models. I've been researching for a time and when I finally was going to order a Z10 my carrier here in Sweden said that the internest wont work since they only offer the BIS for enterprise-customers. Sadly there only 1 carrier in Sweden who offer BIS for privates but that carrier is a no good..

I felt that the girl I spoke with on Tele2 was a bit unexperienced on Blackberry. Wont my phone work if I change APN settings or is BIS required?

Any swede here who uses Blackberry as a private?

Hello, and welcome to Crackberry. In most places, BB10 does not require a BIS plan anymore. Just ask your carrier to add a generic smartphone plan to your account, and you should be in business!

Regrettably it sounds like your sales rep was uninformed. The beauty of the new BB10 devices is that you don't need any special 'BIS' plan but just plain data.

I think you'll find that BB10 is very addictive and like it. My choice is z10 and I think it has the best virtual keyboard out there. Good luck!

Telia/helebob doesn't work

No bis needed, apn is 4g.tele2.se and works fine.


I use it private with comviq / telia.

Hello all of you Crackberrians, an other Swede looking for answers... I have had a playbook for a while now an I have been following the progress of the new BB os since the keynote in January. My first intention were to wait on the Q10. And then I couldnt afford it, Im a student... But still in the game to trade my N9, and I now planing to buy a Z10. The price is right. But as I almost pushed the order button on amazon.de I came across of an artical that sad that the carrier Telia had problem supporting the BB but that the was working on a solution for it. Is there anyone who can describe what you can do and what I cant do with Telia on a data plan(Total Medium)?

It works with Telia aswell. I'm running on Telia 4GLTE splendidly
Halebop runs on the same net as telia (actually a daughter company of telia) so I'm pretty confident that will work too, given u know the apn.

Im on telia and looking on the z10 but noticed some people that had issues...

The only glitch for me is the mms problem many telia users have experienced. Hopefully blackberry sweden will correct it soon.

Ordered my Z10 today. Probably have it up and running correctly on my Tele2 dataplan on wedensday!
