I didn't see any threads or comments regarding this so I made one.
The 10.2 update makes android apps like Instagram run buttery smooth. However I noticed with native apps, namely Facebook it started to lag. On the 10.1 I could scroll as fast as I wanted with no lag, but now it lags when going through news feed. This only occurs when I scroll fast but seeing how it didn't before, I don't see why it does now, almost like a step backwards. Am I the only one?

Plus, how can you quantify this statement knowing that you are running a leaked OS?

No I would load all the content first then scroll up, it would lag on some of the pictures and videos

It's not really a leak. It's pretty much the final product. If it weren't for carriers, you could have this by the end of the week. 10.2 is practically flawless

I also feel like my phone in general is laggier. I'll give it a few days to catch up.

The final 10.2 SDK isn't even out yet. Trust me there will be a lot of versions B4 now & then.....also, by the time a vs gets leaked it's always a number of versions behind what's being used in Waterloo so there's probably already a few never versions out there somewhere.

My 10.2 experiences are positive too - it was never laggy (the MR was though, although that did clear up); my hub froze after around fifteen minutes of having the 10.2 leak working. A battery pull resolved that and it's been fine ever since!

I installed 10.2 in the hopes I could use my pre-MR data backup to get my sms messages back. Didn't work.

But I have noticed 10.2 to be really smooth... well that's my experience, anyway.

    No it's not.

Specifically, the VPN functionality is totally borked and the browser's new "autosize" heuristic has some really ugly flaws.

It's definitely getting there, but this is NOT a releasable version folks.

Especially not for enterprise users with the VPN being screwed up.

Eh, if rebooting and nuking texts came with releasable versions, then this is no biggie.

Headless apps will run on 10.2 the issue however is that the API neede to run them is not available to BlackBerry developers yet. Once it is available the developers of those apps will need to add the code into their app before the app will run headless.

Hi, I installed the new official 10.2 update today and now I notice that none of my Android sideloads that I installed before will work. Nothing happens. A blue progress bar starts as though its loading then just blanks out and returns to the main BB screen. Am I missing something? Tried hard reboot and reinstalled some apps - still won't work. Hmm.
