Your email provider should support connection to the server from outside their network (from a Wi-Fi hotspot for example) and inside with one configuration. Industry best practice is that this connection is password protected and uses TLS. BB10 supports such connections ask your provider for the parameters. If they don't support at least that then you should switch to on that does.
