Has been almoust a year since the announcment off the BlackBerry 10. After lots of updates, still some few things that I miss. Some of them even existed in the previous OS7, but haven't been carried to the new OS10.
It's a great OS, I really love it. Nothing gets closer to it, so lets get even far adding some things.

My wish list:

-Shortcuts (to anything)
-Led customization
-Native .Bar installer
-Equalizer
-Song rating
-backgroud apps
-BlackBerry Protect backups(contacts,etc)
-BIS returned
-Startup apps manager
-.srt reader video app
-More cascades apps (dont let us deppend on android plz)
-Updates to facebook (pictures comments, references,etc)
-Single app sound settings
-A panoramic wallpaper (It would be cool to have the wallpaper extended over the screens)
-Even better cloud integration (use services like box, as an external drive not only trough the file manager)....



I don't like to have to install an app for simple things.

And more customization in camera, more options, not just like capture simply, modes effects, panorama, low light, update HDR now HDR give picture like small dots are there, it should look clear like at normal mode but with enhanced colours and light

I would like to see the status bar on top again with the icons for new mail, text, etc and temperature.

Toast notifications at the top should have an option to stay on longer / indefinite until dismissed or opened. They disappear too quickly.

- Better adobe flash support (it used to lag less on 10.1..)
- More camera options
- USB host also for Q10 and Z10
- FM radio
- stronger and more reliable runtime for apks
- Battery optimization option (dunno.. the ability to set the phone to use just one clock,the ability to set maximum frequency when phone is not used..)
- More option for Music (equalizer and so on..)
- native possibility to crop video size (as supertube) on Q10
- New specific and exclusive native BlackBerry apps (like express)

USB host wont be supported on the Z10 due to hardware limitations (i.e. battery I suspect), don't know about Q10. FM Radio is supported on all but Z10.

Ability to pin an app frame so you don't accidentally close it
Font customization
Better voice control support

No it can't. Only support for on device installs is through BB world or .apk files. You still need to sideload .bar files.
And really the things I want are LED colour customizations, better native music player and full .mkv support (I'm well aware of the legal implications of licensing ac3, but it would still be nice to have).

Im running 10.2.1.1055 leak, .bar files can't be run from the phone, have to be sideloaded or to use a 3rd party app

Oh, I'd also like to see return of the "auto off / on " feature.

And the long press of the "$" key to automatically change to vibrate / silence mode.

Read my mind on that one the system we have for naming newly taken/saved photos is ridiculous compared to how nice and simple it used to be on BB7

To hide the ring tones from the music player, create a file in the folder with the ring tones and name it: ".nomedia"

Its an empty file with the extension ".nomedia"
The music player won't scan the folder

Well idk if drizzt09 was talking about this, but whenever I use the media player with notifications on, it gets really annoying because the notification will decrease the volume of my music and play really loud. A quick fix is just putting the phone on silent, but we shouldn't have to do this.

No I mean that when I play my music on random. It cycles through my Ringtone. I don't want to listen to my ringtones in the music player.
