    I don't know what is going on. She has a Z30 and I a Z10.

Her phone is mostly unusedbut the battery usage is almost all allocated to:

    System (35%)
    PIM Services (30%)
    BBM(22%)

    That's 87% of the battery.

    And only 5.9% is standby.

My phone on the other hand has:
    System (42%)
    Standbye (34%)
Display (30%) (I think this is the light to the display)
    PIM Services (8%)

28% of the time, the CPU isbeing used by BBM on my wife'sphone.

What is going on here? BBM? She has the latest BBM from Blackberry World.

I should add that this seems to be a newer problem. Not sure when it started but there are no newly added accounts anywhere. I just updated all her apps (11 total) but I don't see anything suspect unless the Crackberry app had a bug at some point regarding hammering BBM.

Holy crap .... now I know how she used so much of her 2 Gig plan last month. She is 10 days in and is up to 600 MB used. She doesn't stream anything. Bascially does e-mail.

    This is a HUGE problem.

    WTF.

My phone is using the same amount of data as hers but it is smart enough to auto conenct to our wifi at home. her's is staying on 4G.

    WTF.

BBM is hammering the network .... WHY! This is not just her phone. Just that mine attaches to wifi which is apparently good.

    We are both on Verizon.

Her Software release is 10.2.1.2991. Mine is 10.2.1.2976

I am pretty sure that we are both on the latest push from Verizon.

Check the apps with "Connect to BBM" permission in Settings > Security and Privacy > Application Permissions. Denied the non useful ones

It's a BBM bug that Blackberry is aware of. Do a reboot and it stops it on my phone.

Checked my wifes phone. I disallowed all apps from seeing BBM. BBM no longer eats teh battery. But PIM services is still killing the CPU.

Just turned off push e-mail to see if that fixes the PIM services issue.

Check if you have location services on. With that on my passport doesn't survive more than a day. It's a small thing but adds a lot of battery drainage.
