Went to the Usher concert last night here in Toronto. Tried to take pictures and video of his performance. I Never knew how bad this camera/video sucked. All around me Samsung and iphone users had a clear view of the concert on their phones. I felt. Like I was using a Motorola V551 flip with the Vga camera. All I got was blurry camera quality. I cleaned the lense. Changed every setting I could. Lucky the girl I was with had a note 3 and got pics/vid.In the pic below is a screenshot of the video quailty in concert lighting. As this passport camera. Booooooooooo! My passport let me down last night-img_20141103_093459.jpg

I find the focusing to be bad sometimes, it helps if u tap on the screen what you want to focus on before taking a picture.

Looks like you were pretty far and didn't have the camera set to Night mode, which you should always do for dark areas like that.

the night setting seems to work well for me at concerts and yeah, tapping on what you want to focus does seem to help. I imagine if you work with it a bit things will improve. There's no way BlackBerry was ok producing phones with that quality only.

Also, when you pinch to zoom in you use the Digital zoom which just zooms in on the image, giving you a blurry result. It's not like Optical zoom where the lens adjusts and focuses.

We need a wider aperture and more settings, like shutter speed and I SO, not more megapixels. Please, next full touch, have an awesome camera.

I can't really defend the Passport here. The only camera is pretty mediocre. Not really sure how much they can fix it with software, but hopefully they can bring it up to "OK".

NEVER zoom in when taking photos or videos on any smartphone since they only offer digital zoom, not optical zoom. Also, ensure your flash is off, you're in night mode, and you have the best video settings chosen (60 fps).

The camera is a letdown, I really hope this one single issue that I have with my phone is solved. On the other hand, enjoy the concert, put your phone down! Jk, fix the camera.

I hope BB isn't thinking because this is a business device a good camera is not needed. There are endless business needs for a good camera.

Yes, but one of the needs is NOT video taping concerts from 100 yards or more away.

My wifes iPhone did the same thing till she realized the case she had on her phone wasn't letting camera focus properly. She removed the case and problem solved.

What we're trying to tell you is that your video is blurry because you pinched the screen to zoom in.
