I believe this is already in place.

Just wait a couple of minutes after you reboot your phone and you'll see that the Android apps will load immediately.

If security is your first priority, then you should stay away from android apps, and definitely don't do any sideloads.

#4 used to be the way it was in early builds before original launch. And playbook. I believe it was PB 2.0 that changed this. No sense on wasting boot time on droid.... if no one uses or loads droid.
For people that do takes extra time on first app run only.
This decision makes sense to me

That's how I read it too. Just another thread posted up crying, moaning, or otherwise bringing attention to Viber on these forums... You just have to wonder why these users don't put the same effort and dedication into bother Viber itself to release a BB10 app; regardless whether they say that they have no plans to relase a BB10 app or not, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. But they somehow have the silly idea that bothering BlackBerry (when in fact all they're doing is bothering Crackberry users, not even BlackBerry itself) will get them their Viber fix.

If Viber is of paramount importance to you, I suggest you get a device that Viber supports. Change your main device or get a secondary device; because the only other option you really have is to keep demanding Viber to create a BB10 app, and don't stop demanding it from them till they give it to you.

Security on Blackberry without BES is only slightly better than iOS and Android. Furthermore, you claim you want security yet you are side loading apps from Android

    Unbelievable

    OP you are a moron
    Wow... what a tool.

What are you basing your comments off of? Read any technical writeups tha prove your assertions?

As an enterprise email admin and someone who runs a BES 10 server, I can tell you the BES give you no more device security with the exception of activating a separate workspace in Balance mode. However the device itself isn't any more secure just because you have connected it to a BES. The security is inherent in the OS, and since the Android apps run in a separated out emulator, they are not the same as they would be on an Android device natively.

Before you decide to trash talk someone, at least get your facts straight and be prepared to back them up.

BES only adds an extra layer of security by separating work and personal. Keeping work behind a lock and key. The only extra security BES can force on personal side is password protection. And that's an optional feature. All the rest of the security is hilt into the OS and it far superior to iOS, Android or Win phone for that matter.
As for the security between android on personal or Android on work perimeters. It's basically a VM. Nothing from the VM can spill into the OS. Try connecting to a VM on windows and purposely get malware or virus on the VM. Does it affect the main PC... no.
