I don't think this was an option in 10.0. Now, it is in 10.1?

How can I see if my sync is sent to forever, and if it's not, is my only recourse to delete the account and readd it?

I will, just want to know first.

    Thanks,
    BJ

You can only change that setting during setup, so yes, you will have to remove and re-add the email if you want to set it to forever.

If you go Settings > Accounts > That email and scroll to the bottom you'll see how the sync is set up.

Where do I see how its's set up now? See below. I follow your directions, but don't see it:

You cannot. I have some accounts set to sync for 30 maximum days, others set to forever and there is no setting available on 10.2.0.1791 which delineates between the two synchronization types.

Correct. That is the only recourse. Perhaps 10.2.1 may differ.

I think I can both see the sync timeframe and change it, but it depends on the account type. My Hotmail account and my university's Exchange email allow this, while my Fastmail IMAP account doesn't let me.

I readded it. Seems to be working well so far. Inbox slowly populating (although mostly sent items, since I keep little in my Inbox).

My folders are all there, but there's nothing in them...(yet?)

Well it is pulling all your emails... that's why I don't set it past 90 days...

Go to Settings > Accounts > [your Gmail account]. Scroll down to "Edit Folder Settings". Select which you want to sync to your device.
