Is there a good tutorial of music on bb10? I have 7digital storing purchased music by default on mnt/sdcard... this is not accessible to the BlackBerry music app, nor can I access it via file manager to move it. How difficult should this be?? I don't like 7digital, what do most people use?

All my music is ripped from other people's cds....or downloaded from "other digital sites"....which i can't say on this board. Never tried 7digital. Is there a way to download a copy of your purchased music to your desktop?

Thanks. I believe I will have to do just that. Seems very poorly done.

I use 7 Digital to purchase music. The default music app always locates the downloaded files in the 7digital download folder. The 7digital app shows music being saved in mnt | sdcard | 7digital | track. Using the file manager, this is in Device | misc | android | 7Digital | track. After downloading, I always move the files to my SD card. Occasionally one of the files will reappear in the 7digital folder. I believe this is caused by moving the files before the app has them upgraded high quality versions. I just move them again and overwrite the earlier copies.

I am not familiar with 7 Digital. I use iTunes on my desktop and copy the music to the SD card. Have never had an issue.

Curious... the built-in music app should be able to see all music in user-accessible folders.

I have set my 7digital-powered HMV app to save data to Music. /mnt/sdcard, is simply an alias for the user directory containing music, video, documentss.. folders.
