See attached. Book of Souls is a double disc, tracks 1-6 are on the first disc, 7-11 are on the second. For some reason disc 2 is showing up above disc 1. Super annoying.

I've inspected and edited the tags in id3iot and everything seems to be in order, yet somehow the discs are still out of order. Tried removing and replacing the SD card to force a re-scan of the library, no change.

Id3iot doesn't always read it correctly
Import into Itunes and edit tags
Unfortunately the BB music player is really specific on how it read tags

Do you have an iTunes alternative? I won't let crapple's garbage anywhere near my computers.

Even better, is there an app I can use to do this from the phone itself?

Not reliable on the phone itself. There's mp3tag and a few alternatives
Just Google audio file tag editor

Are both ripped discs in the same folder, or do you have a "disc 1" and "disc 2" subfolders? Are the folders named identically other than disc number?

I use MP3Tag, haven't had a problem on the few multi-disc rips I do have.

All files are in 1 folder.

I suspect it's an issue with the rip, this was just a downloaded version, if I can't edit it with a tag editor I'll do my own rip from the copy I bought and see if it works any better.

    Thanks all!

It's easier to create a new playlist on the phone and order the songs as you want...

I use WinAMP for tag editing on a PC. (Yeah i'm old!) It has meta data for "Disc" i.e. nothing or 1 or 2 etc. Another solution is renaming each disc i.e. Book of Souls (Disc 1) and Book of Souls (Disc 2). Took forever to clean up my library of .mp3's from the early days of the format but worth it. BB10 is very particular about metadata!
