Since updating to 10.3.1, I've been accidentally closing the wrong app. My muscle memory for closing an app is flick up and click in the upper left app. But now the most recent app is the very last app on the home page. It could be anywhere.
    Anyone encountering this?

Move the apps you want open to the positions you don't close.

Tap and hold on the active frame to rearrange.

What happens here, when I have 5 or more apps open, is that I often hit one of the " other app page" buttons instead of the "X". This is a Z30 and I have fat thumbs...

No worries. The same way you trained yourself for the prior behavior, you will eventually train yourself for the new behavior. Not rocket science.

That's exactly what I was doing a few days after the update. Have a bunch of minimized apps and shut down the most important one while getting things done. Oh well, live and learn.

All I want is to close the app I'm currently using.

Then you may want to start taking control of your fingers back.

Top four apps remain in the order they were opened.

What happens to me is I often close apps I'm using.

I think "I'll come back to this shortly, I need to leave it active framed", and then I proceed to swipe up and immediately hit X, followed by a "goddammit".

Just updated and doing the exact same thing man. Not sure if this implementation is better or makes more sense in a UX design but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Wish there was an option...

Tap and hold on an active frame. Drag them around. This is so people have an incentive to not close them because there most used apps in theory will be at its same location. Now open a few apps and reboot. It will remember the apps you had open.
