    Mupen64+ Release Version 1.1.7

    Installer
    Mupen64Plus-BB-1_1_7_10.bar

    Change Log
    • You can now create a custom touch screen overlay
    • Updated all emulator libraries to their latest version
    • Updated the settings backend to be more flexible (check your settings before playing again, I tried my best to make sure all settings get copied to the new back end but it is possible I missed some)
    • Updated history view
    • Create shortcuts from the main view instead of just in the history view
    • New settings to help with game compatibility
    • Controller Pak support
    • Select save/load state slot by long pressing on the save or load state menu item
    • If you were having trouble with Ocarina of Time hanging after you close the menu before it should now be fixed. If it still doesn't work for you post here so I can help fix it
    • Fixed gamepad support again

    Known Issues
    • List layout in history view won't scroll.
    • Some games on certain OS/device combinations have scrambled backgrounds when in menus.

Interesting, kuddos to the maker. Might be nice to have a list of working games with a green, orange, red scale system on how well each game works.

One is in the works but doesn't have much in it yet.

like the layout, how to do it on Mupen64Plus-BB-1_1_7_10?
You won't be able to make it look exactly like that because the buttons will still look the same as before but you can put the controls in the same spots. Go into the input settings, change the controller layout to custom, then click the create layout button. This will bring up an editor that let's you place the controls wherever you want. Just select the control that you wish to move from the overflow menu then drag it to the desired position. If you want to hide the d-pad and left trigger like the Android version just drag them off screen. When you're done press the create overlay button.

I cannot map any of my buttons on my Passport (Qwerty) or Moga 2 HID. The Moga 2 works, but the buttons are mapped in a very weird way. The analogue stick works when I switch from 0 to 1, so it is seeing my controller, but I cannot map. Every time I go to map, I press the button I want mapped, and it says cancelling and goes back to default. When I clear all the key bindings and spam a button while pressing to remap, it comes up menu2 for all of my buttons.

I have the same Moga Pro 2 button mapping issues. Maybe Travis can join forces with the guy doing the Retro Arch updates and find a way to give us solid Bluetooth button mapping. Until then, this update made two games I have work MUCH better. I also love the 10.3 UI update, and the updated splash with BlackBerry logo. Outside of perfecting Bluetooth button mapping, you couldn't ask for a finer update. Thanks, Travis!

I've been unable to use the emulator on my STL-100-3.
I could use it on the last leak I was using (probably 10.3.1.1054) but now on 10.3.1.1949 all I get is 'Unable to save advanced settings: permissions' I figured this could be related to the app's permissions but the only one that is asked is enabled. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help!

That warning means that the file Device/misc/n64/RiceVideoLinux.ini has gotten some bad file permissions on it. This happened to me once but I couldn't find a reason for it or make it happen again so I wrote it off as a fluke. Try deleting the file and replacing it with the one here.

It might have happened because I did a full restore after using the autoloader? Since sideloaded apps are not restored (or backed up in the first place? I'm not sure, actually) when I installed the emulator again, it might have added a second copy of RiceVideoLinux.ini?

Edit: That solved it! Thank you!

Does moga pro work with 1.1.7? My z30 detects the controller but doesnt seem to respond to any keys. Haven't changed any of the keys, left at default. Running 10.2.1.3062.

This thread is 5 years old, the Android runtime on BB10 phones is forever stuck on 4.3 so it is unlikely you’ll get this for your phone now.

BB10 is EOL and has been now for some time, you should probably be looking to get a proper Android phone at this point.

What is the actual point of your answer? I am not looking for life advices, I just want an answer that is helpful, otherwise what is the point of this forum and why are you still replying? I don't want to be mean, but consider that some people may have a nostalgic feel about this phones and consider them small projects. Of course we deal our everyday life with a proper Android phone or an iPhone.

I tried mupen64 on my q10 and actually I ran Majora Mask sometimes at full speed but the problem are the controls that can't be personalised and of course that isn't update aymore. I am talking about emulator not the OS. Also RetroArch is really outdated and doesn't download cores. But would be so cool to use these phones also for gaming no?
