    1. Can you access any back ups after a phone is wiped?

    2. Can SD cards be accessed through any other method if you lose the phone?

    3. Is there any software out there that can do an incremental back up (with unlimited versioning preferentially) of your SD card on your HD?

    4. If such software exists, what is your experience with it?

    5. How do you transfer to a new phone if you are encrypted?

    6. Can you decrypt?

    7. To take encryption seriously do I need to increase my password beyond four numbers?

    8. Is the password salted?

    9. How come file transfer rates from my phone to my computer are in the order of 1mb/s? Is this normal? (unencrypted)

    10. I searched for a detailed treatment of this topic on the forums but could not find one. Do you have a link to one? If so, please share it.

    1. That would depend on what you backed up and how it was done. If you use reasonable methods, yes.

    2. No.

    3. I don't know.

    4. N/a

    5. For SDCARD decrypt it first.

    6. Yes.

    7. Certainly for SDCARD encryption.

    8. Technically no, it is put through a PBKDF, but for what you are probably thinking this amounts to the same thing, near enough.

    9. How are you transferring data? How fast is your SDCARD?

    10. This is actually many topics and would require many links.
