    Hi

I am hoping someone can help as my daughter has somehow deleted the facebook icon off the add account screen on my blackberry Q5. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled again via blackberry world but it keeps telling me my session has expired and to log in. I cannot do anything other than access facebook via the browser. I have rebooted the phone but again nothing. I downloaded the OS as an update was available but this did not help either.

I am stumped!! I have looked at different threads to see if nay can help but there doesn't seem to be any answer! Can the icon be found and added again??

    thanks in advance

Facebook is not listed in the Hub? THAT is when it disappears from the Add Account screen after you add it to the hub. I believe you may need to use an autoloader and reload your OS from scratch to fix this. Unless I am misunderstanding. BUT wait a bit for others to answer first as we have folks MUCH more knowledgeable than I here.

EDIT: I have made a call for some help here, please standby!

I have the same problem. I finally did a factory reset yesterday which was the only way I could find to bring FB back... then of course I restored all my files and app settings from BlackBerry Link and the problem reappeared again, i.e. FB was gone from the Add Account screen. :/ I confess I had a feeling that would happen but I didn't want to re-download 8 gigs of other apps so I thought I'd try the restore. So from what I can tell you need to reset, then rebuild from scratch (or at least de-select app files in the restoration menu). Bla1ze, is there a way to re-install the OS underneath all your existing files and settings, or are you describing a reset also?

You would have to reload the whole os. Either by link or autoloader.
Do a back up and restore with link,

I did that. The restore ruined it again.

Then I would think it's that, set your phone up like new lot less bugs.
