Is there a way to get the active frames to minimize how they did in 10.2 and prior? (minimize to the top left)

No you can't but it's good to have the app closed where you opened it
For me always the device monitor on top left and bbm top right ! You'll get used to it and love it

You're probably right, I just don't like not having the option.

Just realized it's different now ... and I for one like it better. Thanks for pointing it out to me.

First four apps keep their positions. The rest shuffle as usual.

I'm sorry but this "feature " drives me crazy. I don't usually keep apps open unless I am in the middle of something. But I can no longer close an app with muscle memory, but rather I have to look for where the app minimized to close it.
