I can tell u for bis contrary to info I saw on here it does not work. I vote try and let us know. Too bad u will have to cut ur simple to try it.

It does not work it shows that it has signal and can make phone calls but no data. I tried going into the escreens to change the radio to gsm only and it still didn't work. Is there an APN setting i need for the older BES plans?

My plan is a BlackBerry plan (BIS) and it works fine on my Z10..

Tried it with a Rogers BES plan SIM- not a microSIM, but just used a microSIM puncher tool to cut out a regular SIM out of a Bold 9900- you get phone but no data and no BB service, *BUT* if you use escreen to manually change the APN back to 'blackberry.net', then it works fine: phone, data, can talk to BES and get activated, but watch out if you're using an EMM-regulated BES because e-screen APN settings don't persist after reboot, so if you reboot, you have about 30 seconds to unlock the phone, go to the escreen (and generate and key in the unlock code if necessary), then change the APN, otherwise the phone will automatically go into quarantine mode and you'll either have to find a Z10-enabled SIM to de-quarantine, or wipe the phone and try again.
