Is this for a work email account or personal? Have you tried restarting the phone? This happened to me earlier this week and a restart resolved it.

I had the notification for unread emails after I first switched, despite the fact that I went through and marked each as read individually. To fix the issue I simply did a 'mark prior read' from the current date and the problem was fixed. If you're not sure how to do that, simply long-click the date header and the right-hand menu will have the 'mark prior read' button.

I have 2 emails although my inbox was all read. It ended up being 2 unread emails in another folder

I did the mark Prior read. Quick reset and battery pull and fixed! Thanks for the help!

Go to your notifications in you hub and look through everything. I had to do that on my Z10 to get the notification to disappear.
