    Hi there. Anyone having problems with their media card not showing since upgrading to 10.3.1?

    I was on a leaked version of 10.3.1 before upgrading to the official version. It seems my only option is to format the media card. anyone else see something similar?
    My media card was working fine on the leaked version of 10.3.1.

    Just to be on the safe side, see if the SD can be read on a PC. If it can't, then you know it's not 10.3.1, but your SD.

    If it can, backup and let your phone format, then move your stuff back in.

    I've the same problem that my media card is not showing up after moving to 10.3.1.
    Any suggestions how to cure the system?

    Was your SD card encrypted before the update?

    Did you do a wipe or reload?

    If the answer to both of the above is Yes then the contents are lost and your only option is to format the card and lose the data.

    When a card is encrypted it can only be read on the device which did the encryption. Once you do a wipe or OS Reload the devices encryption key gets erased and the card becomes inaccessible.

    To avoid this, simply decrypt the card before doing a wipe or reload and be sure to do regular backups of the card contents in case your device and ever die on you.

    Be sure to try reading your card in a computer before formatting if that's what you end up doing.

    So i haven't done a wipe or an OS reload but when i connected my BB to Link, it wouldn't recognize my SD card. Now my SD card doesn't even show up on BB Q10. And when i try to put it into my computer it doesn't show any files. It says it's media card in not recognized and it needs to be formatted and everything will be lost. The reason i kept everything on my media card is that i had a BB brick on me and i lost everything already once. This has to be a 10.3.1 issue as it happened after the update and the new Link being installed.
