Since the Maps update (after the. 801 humiliating upgrade disaster) Maps now won't stay "on" during active navigation. Screen goes dark/locks after 1 minute (or whatever the setting is - max 5 minutes) rather than staying on. This renders Maps, once again, useless. I looked for that setting called "allow apps to override auto-lock" but I could not find it in Maps settings or the general system settings.

Is there a fix I'm missing?

You mention the .801 update. Have you done or thought of upgrading your OS to one of the later builds?

i don't have that problem on my AT&T z10 ,and i use bb maps a few times a week for work.are you on all the latest updates (10.1 OS and latest maps update)? i just used my bb maps the other night and ran it for over an hour without my z10 being plugged into a charger.

I don't know what I did, but I fixed it, or it fixed itself, or I was dreaming. Works fine now.
