Ever since I loaded the 10.3.1 blitz all nav apps including nav free, maps and Google maps can't acquire a gps signal. Blackberry maps upon launching app finds my location but when I activate guidance to a location it tells me it can't find my location. I've restored the phone with link but no luck. Any ideas??

you probably need to reload the maps bar file and see if that fixes it.

Mine is working just fine so try reloading the entire OS is my suggestion. Maybe there was a glitz

@EvEr34 did you find a solution? I'm having the same problem with my Z30 on 10.3.1.1581. It was a clean autoloader install and GPS did work for a few weeks and just stopped a few days ago. Location services are on and all the apps have permission..

Which version of 10.3.1 are you using? Mine is working fine with 10.3.1.2708.

If you are on an earlier version, you might want to update and deselect the option in Sachesi to install only new files, so that it replaces all files.

I'm seeing the same problem. I had it when I was on an earlier 10.3.1 and I'm still seeing it with 10.3.1.2708. It's very annoying that I can't use Maps. Yet Poynt and some other apps can determine my location. Even Maps finds my location. It just cant' get a route because it can't find the GPS signal.

Many apps that do not require pin point accuracy will work using the location of the cell tower, including Poynt. You need to independently verify GPS is indeed working. There are many apps in BlackBerry World and Snap for this. I use HelloGPS.

If you can get a location, likely within a very wide radius, but no route, it is a sign that GPS isn't working.

I believe it only works well with Telus. I read something somewhere about 10.3.1 not being supported by all carriers yet. If you load a leak and aren't with telus/koodo then you are out of luck for now. Don't quote me on this but I THINK I read this somewhere.

Lots of Canadian carriers have officially pushed out 10.3.1, so it's supported.

I did say don't quote me.
Maybe it's just the maps app then....
I do know when I did an OS reload yesterday through Link that it put a 10.2 OS back on......

I tried HelloGPS last night and it found a signal. Then I closed it and immediately tried Maps and it still gave the GPS error when I tried to start navigating.

I used Sachesi and bumped the OS to 10.3.1.1767 (Rogers hasnt released the latest small update for the Z30) and the GPS is now working fine! Google Maps, Waze, BB Maps all working ok.

I had the problem recur ever after loading the bar file again. Then I opened Cobalt's Android Settings and noticed that Poynt was running in the background (which explains the GPS indicator I saw). I stopped it and then Maps worked again. I replicated this a few times. I'd suggest making sure another app isn't holding the GPS open and causing issues.
