What happens when you use it exactly?
A map appears showing my location. At the bottom of map a horizontal "line" scrolls back and forth endlessly. Below that it says "Enter Pickup address here" and below that "enter destination here". Below that a welcome to uber, Upper left of screen are three horizontal lines which are non-responsive. They click but no longer open up settings. If either destination or pickup address are tapped I get an "oops! Go Back" If I hit that it randomly repeats/shows settings/restarts login.
No one else? Happening on my wife's phone as well. Is it possible I'm not using a browser it likes?
Exact same thing happens for me and someone else I know on Classic. We have both sent support requests. I hope they resolve it soon.
Did you guys try other browsers and change the user agent?
What's a good other browser to try? Any recommendations? And what do you mean by "change user agent"? (Long time Blackberry user but I'm new here :))
Support requested a screenshot of the error so sounds like they are looking into it.
Use Browsie Browser and change the user agent to Android or iOS. The site will think you're on Android or iOS.
Thanks I just downloaded it, went to m.uber.com and it redirects here and hangs - any ideas? https://m.uber.com/enable-geolocation
Same problem here using native browser on passport

OK, using Browsie I got through whole login pretending I was a Windows phone. But after entering the 4 digit code got repeat error "cannot establish secure connection. " As iPhone, at end got: cannot connect with our server". As an Android it won't even accept my phone number.
UPDATE -- I'm in using an earlier version of Chrome. What does "request desktop site" mean (before I push that button and blow up something.
It basically just asks the browser to show the desktop version instead of mobile. On Browsie it pretends to be whatever user agent you select through the settings (it's Chrome by default IIRC).
Well, looks like m.uber is back ON the rails, so hopefully the recent issue was a temporary glitch.
They were just down in order to offload all the user data they sold for $100K. Back on the rails and going back to load up more user data. It's the holiday season you know.......
Go download OBER
