    Hi Bob

I've noticed that you're on 10.2.0.424, Would you consider upgrading your OS to see if support for those characters has been added recently?

    HI Qbnkelt
Sorry for the delay in my answer, Yes as long as it isn't a leak, my device is very important in my job and I don't wan't to use too much time by playing around, it has to work every day.

The strange thing is that if I reply a email from my zed then the national char is there, but if I write a new mail it is missing.
If I write throug my private pop3 acount still using the z10 the national char is working, even in a new mail.

If I make a new mail to myself, then when recieving in outlook the char is missing, when recieving at z10 the char is there ???
So BB is sending the char but in a way that MS can't see...??

Some of my colleagues are using S3 & S4, they dont have this problem.
I seached the web a bit and found that there can be challenges using Exchange 2003 but I don't understand why it doesnt happend for the Samsungs...
I tried to setup an Ip4s, it was also working...

I don't know what to do....

    Hi Bob,

I'm from Denmark too working as a BlackBerry System Integrator since 7 years.

Seems like an encoding issue between BB10 and Exchange 2003 and the issue is on the BB10 side.

I have not seen the issue on Exchange 2007 or later and all my customers are no longer running Exchange 2003 since a long time so I cannot verify the issue on 2003.

You *could* test with the leaked 10.2.1.1055 version (final version is to be released to carriers beginning of jan 2014) and see if the bug has been fixed. If you don't want to test yourself, send me a PM with details of a test account and I will test it for you.

I know you are asking for a solution for Exchange 2003, but have you concidered upgrading to 2010 or 2013 or even Office 365? I know there could be reasons for keeping the old version like legacy WebDAV integration.

Exchange 2003 supports EAS version 2.5 which is quite limited. E.g. notes syncing was introduced with EAS 14 (Exchange 2010) as well as many extra settings and functionality.

Pls. refer to this KB for further info about BlackBerry 10 and supported EAS features/versions: KB33619-Supported Microsoft ActiveSync Features and Policies for use with BlackBerry 10

    Hi JPVJ
Thanks for your input and sorry for the delay in my reply...

At the moment I travel a lot and don't have the time to play around with my ZED, it just have to work every day...
I think I'll wait for 10.2.1.xx, but actually we also discussed to scrap our old server an get a hosted solution, so it migth be solved out that way instead...

    I I'll keep you updated....
