I have a long BBM chat going pretty much all day, every day for 6 weeks. Today it started acting strange. Whenever I send a new message, it jumps to the top of the chat, and I have to click out of the typing box and into the chat and hit B to get to the bottom. I figured the chat was just too long, so I deleted it. When I started a new chat with the same person, the whole old chat reappeared (and continues the same annoying behavior). Any ideas? I thought I could remove her from BBM and re-add her, but (1) that's annoying and (2) will I lose my chat history even though I have it set to save?

The saving of the chat history is likely the cause of the issues you're seeing. On older BlackBerry devices, it was problematic when the logs became large I'm guessing the same is happening here.

You have to delete the chat. I know that sucks, but that's the only solution I have found. I have have to delete all my chats after a few weeks.

I *did* delete the chat, and as soon as I stated a new one with her, everything was still there. I guess it restored from where it saves it. How do I delete that?

Removed the person and readded her. Why does a whole new software problem have the same problems as the original?

Go to your bbm settings and either turn off save chat history and delete chats. Or you can just delete chats but you will have to go do it every time your chats get too long.

I have this same problem, I just end the chat and everything is fixed for me.
