Hey tomherne! Wow! That's a hell of a lot more stuff than my 2012 MBZ GLK350 shows. Mine only shows hands-free calling! It must be the system as I have everything you can buy in or on that car including the nav/Harman Kardan premier sound system and I have nothing. I know they changed as my wife's 2012 C250 has everything as well but her command system does a lot more--like read text messages out loud to her. So guess I have to wait for my lease to run out so I can get the better system. ANOTHER odd thing is that we were driving my GLK back from a business trip today and she was driving and had her iPhone 4S bluetooth enambled on the car while she was driving. While driving we were
in a bad area and a couple of calls to her went to voice mail. To my surprise she clicked on them on her iPhone that they played out through the GLK speaker system--which mine will not do. I tried it later and the only way I could hear them was to put them manually through the loudspeaker on the Q10? Again, it must be the newer system you both have in your MBZ's.

Hey go1ndr , it is probably the new comand system. I can even use the blackberry voice control. It shows up as contact and when I choose to call it, Voice Control fires up. Everything works perfectly :-)
The only thing I cannot do is to go online with it. My old 9000 had the right bluetooth standard, but the Z10 misses it. It was slow anyways but it still would be nice. On the other hand it is a Mercedes Problem because almost no new phones support it

So true! You would think that Mercedes would be 100% high tech and 100% BB considering they are sponsors but they are always behind. Even the Mickey Mouse hookup for the Apple products is out of date--lol. I leased my 2012 GLK350 the same time my wife leased her 2012 C250 (we lease through our business) and her car (nearly the same car) came with the new command system (3D, text reading, etc) and mine came with the same one that was in my 2009 E350. I pissed and moaned about it and they just said sorry but no way to exchange it. Still it is a MBZ no matter what it comes with--it rocks! This is my 5th and I'll never drive any other car. Just have to wait for the lease to run out next year so I can get the new command system

In 1443 they fixed the mb logo, Not on the stupid white bg anymore and actually looks very clean. Also, the lockscreen issue appears to be fixed. It still goes to the lock screen, but you don't have to put your pw anymore, just swipe up.
