hey guys and gals,

I've set a password on my device this morning after setting it up from scratch with no restore..
.. well now i cannot unlock the device. The swipe up gesture does not show the passwrod insertion window, it just shows nothing... swipe down goes back to the onscreen notification..

anyone with the same issue? any fix found?

have u try hard reset???turn off>pull out batteries,sim,sd>put evrything back>turn it on

I just logged into crackberry from a freinds phone to ask about this. I have done countless resets and battery pulls and still nothing comes up in the lockscreen for me to unlock it. It is just a brick at this stage. Any ideas?

it worked fine for two days, after setting a password the lock screen does not respond anymore...

it is definetely not bricked, this is a OS problem..

do you guys have password set on your devices?

normal password?
picture password?

I tried to connect the phone to BBLINK this morning, thinking that i could unlock the device from the computer. and although i get asked for my password, the device itself wont unlock

yep im bricked. no access to the phone. have to restore factory defaults through link

im guessing the official 10.2.0

Ill wait for a more stable 10.2.1, or at least one that gives me access to my phone

Not sure if it will work on .1055 or not but I am on Z10STL100-2/10.2.1.575 and it sometimes just shows the a blacked out screen when I swipe up to unlock.
The fix I found was to bring up the turning off screen and then press cancel and it would bring me the the password input screen.

ok the LINK restore is actually a security WIPE, so i'm still on 10.2.1.1055.

GUYS this leak has great features, BUT it's pretty unstable, watch out..
I'm surely not gonna set it up minimalistically until a newer more stable leak comes out
