Live.com Account Taking Too Much Storage Space?-img_20140927_071601.png

    Here's my storage, now.

It's stable. Yesterday it wasn't. Acute problem.

Memory was being consumed fast (within a few minutes I lost several hundred Meg) and battery life was bad.

First I deleted Box and then CrackBerry. No difference. Then I deleted one of my email accounts, live.com. Now memory use is stable.

The screen shots show what happened within seconds. Less than a minute between screen shots.
I had to turn the phone off every five minutes.

Now, I've deleted the live.com account and the results seem good. Memory is stable. Battery life is trending upwards, according to the device monitor. When the problem was most acute, a fully charged battery was predicted five hours expected to last. Now its prediction is ten to fifteen hours.

Edit, update : I added the live.com account back. The phone's OS is stable.

You're showing storage space. Not memory.

I think you need to remove some apps or files. Any computer system struggles when storage space gets low.

Yes, storage space. This is what was getting eaten up within minutes. Without my doing anything.

Well your accounts add to the space, temp files etc. You're very low on space. I would remove some stuff.

Maybe you have a lot of attachments in that account

Yes, this account was used to send a lot of attachments. Then, I deleted the photos and videos. But then something caused thst account to eat up my storage space ("memory")

Now I've synced it again and it isn't eating my storage space ("memory").

Tks to the mods who put the right term in the thread title. But now it doesn't read as a leak. It was indeed something like a leak because it became an eater ; it ate up all the storage space available although it didn't need to do this.
