So, when I got the email, we have already seen, from LinkedIn about their ending support for their BlackBerry mobile app...I wrote back to their customer service "asking" (to put it mildly) about what is next and why they are abandoning BlackBerry customers... they answered this is what they said...see text below :

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

"*Thank you for your email and I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. We're always looking for ways to improve the LinkedIn experience for our members. This sometimes means upgrading our products for better member experience, in the case the app, which offers a greater value to our members. Currently we do not have a date or communicated timeframe on when a new version of our application will be available on Blackberry or Windows mobile devices. However, we do have a mobile application team that is working on getting this resolved and pushed out to all of our members as soon as possible.

As a workaround, you should still be able to access LinkedIn.com via your mobile browser or desktop site

Again I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you need anything else, please let me know and I will gladly assist.*

Obviously, take everything with a grain of salt as this sounds like typical corporate speak...

PS...I have tried to attach a screenshot of the actual email...but I can't attach any pictures?! Anyone know why?!

I've been using the mobile website for the past year. It works better and has more features.

For me it's the contacts and HUB integration that I'm interested and concerned about...I don't want to lose them from my phone or that functionality.

It doesn't matter anyway as LinkedIn will cease to exist in the long run 'cause MS is gonna merge it into their own cloud services.

Probably. But it will still be around in its current format for a while at least. Not too concerned with the long run...rather with the here and now...

    Thanks for the reply though.

Eventually the "long run" will become the "here and now". What will you be saying at that time?

So LinkedIn, like Facebook, has stopped working properly in BB10... sounds like a job for Nemory Studios to make a "Linked10"!

LOL at folks telling OP that he won't miss the app in the future, because it will be gone.

    Funny stuff.

If Nemory Studios created a LinkedIn app with a syncing Ln contacts to the HUB, that would be mindblowing!

Imagine having enough number of highly skilled BlackBerry developers letting BlackBerry community become independent from all of the other app manufacturers we are all used to

Try ensuring your app has shared file access turned on. Also I have seen written somewhere that attaching pics not effective until you reach a certain number of posts (no idea on this).

That was one of BB10's most amazing and underseen features...think if BlackBerry had advertised BB10 properly.
