link freezes when trying to restore

hi there,

I did a full back up of my phone and updated the software

everything went as planned

phone started

when i try to do the restore it keeps failing saying communication lost as it is about to start the restore (after saying preparing for restore)

i tried 2 computers and older backup files

i tried to restore sections of the backup

i did a devide wipe and reinstalled the software

i installed older veriosn of the os

all the same error

anyone else having this problem?

maybe its the link software acting up?

sometimes the phone restarts when i try to restore :(

This is pretty common. That's why I always to a fresh install.

It's great that it backs up... but doesn't restore reliably!
