Just got notice that my banking app (Android) will stop functioning soon. They are moving to Android 5.0 and up. I'm not sure about the "native" BlackBerry one, but can't do photo cheque deposits with the BlackBerry anyways.

I have another device at home I can use for now, but the banking app was the big one to drop.

If it was in the budget I'd pick up a KeyONE. May look online for a PRIV cheap in the coming months. I may be able to hold out for KeyONE to drop the early adopter tax, but the usefulness of BB10 took a big hit today.

No way I'd buy another BB10 device now, despite loving the Passport. It's mid-2017 now and 2014 called and wants their device and OS back.

As much as we loved it, it's now behind the times for what a device should do.

Yes. They just terminated access for my BB10 banking app, but I can still use the Web browser in desk mode to access my bank accounts on bb10.
Still more secure than doing it on my Mac through the browser.

But, depending on your bank, possibly not as secure as their app.

Not gonna happen. Sorry, but it doesn't make any kind of business sense. Android is where it's at for BlackBerry.

BB10 fans will have to stick to what's out there now.

Maybe, but more secure than using a PC or Mac.

Roughly 0.048% market share. But when rounded off...

BB10 was the car we passed 50 miles ago. Remember the one on the side of the road with the 2 flat tires, parts strewn about the shoulder. Yeah, the one that runs on that strange fuel that you can't buy at any normal gas station?

You guys want to turn around, drive 50 miles back, and try to rescue that thing. Why? i don't understand.

It was the car Chen and his goons were driving in when some sucka in that Android mobile came by and put two hollow tips in the two tires you considered flat. I swear I saw Chen shaking the hands of the driver of that Android Mobile. He also got in the car and left the other goons stranded and those goons were the BB10 developers. Ever since that day Chen has been wearing the Android name on his face with a smile as big as the Joker. Yup,
