on Rogers with a 3gb data plan.
Hotspot has worked flawlessly in conjunction with laptop.
Even watched some live HD MLB on laptop using this method....mint!!

You can exchange bar files between releases, they're not hardware dependent. However I tested 1323 settings on my phone and it didn't helped me, but the toggle doesn't switch off instantly. Maybe it'll work for you. We'll see.

It's working for me. I noticed that even if I choose the inactive timeout to be 60 minutes it will close the session before that anyway.

Android apps can't play with the advanced Wifi settings. Lots of apps which need to do that, like DLNA apps, just don't work

It's the other way around. Try to connect to a DLNA server.
When converting APKs I see lots of errors when an app requires some wifi permissions.

HotSpot is good here. (On Telus)
It really came in handy a couple of weeks ago when our cable/internet died. Ran up almost 3 gb in data over a day and a half.
