If you're talking about the one I posted, then yeah. It's intended to just replace the radio file to. 811. But do a backup just in case.

After reading this thread I thought I'd give it a try

Not working on my STL100-2 on O2-UK, weirdly, when I went into hotspot settings it had given it a default hotspot name of 'Vodafone Mobile Hotspot'. I only ever used a Vodafone sim once to get an update that O2 was being too slow to roll out. Since then I've had the MR update through O2 & installed the 10.2 leak.

I might have to revert back to 10.1 if this isn't fixed by next month (will need hotspot on a trip)

Hotspot doesn't work for me. STL100-3.

I had the same problem. It just hangs on refresh. I did a BlackBerry WIPE and it solved the problem. Everything works now.

On AT&T and tether was working before my upgrade to 10.2. I just tried the 811 radio flash and still no luck. This is vitally important to me as I even dropped my grandfathered unlimited plan to have AT&T activate tether for me. I hope someone figures this out or there is a new fixed leak soon. I do love the new 10.2 overall though.

BTW, I my APN is grayed out and I have no idea how the to the escreens stuff....unless someone can shoot me a link to the details.

I can't even get to the settings for hotspot or tether except via search. Can't see either option under the network connections list.

Should mention - I'm on Rogers in Canada - hotspot worked under the 10.1 maintenance release.

i've noticed on T-Mobile that web browsing will use your mobile hotspot data even if it's not turned on. I called T-mobile and talked to several reps, they told me it was on and I insisted it has not been on for months. They gave me 2GB for free since I couldn't web browse. This is a pretty big issue if you ask me.

stl100-3 on Wind, can't get it to work consistently at all. Tried many methods to develop and systematic way of success to no avail.

Works for me on STL100-2 (10.2.0.1047) on Vodafone Germany. BUT I had to set the APN manually, phone asked me to when I first tried to use mobile Hotspot.

hotspot is working for me. V4 on Verizon. First attempt failed after several tries. Had to do a battery pull and has been working consistent every since.

That's great! I wish I were that lucky.

Nothing I've tried to this point will seem to work.
