I can't turn it on
And it messed my BlackBerry connectivity, I have to click restore to default, then turn off & on Wifi again to get connected to BlackBerry data

I'm currently trying out some BAR's from the 810 build and see if it fixes the issue. So far I managed to fix the Facebook issue for the greyed out settingsn

Wish me luck replacing the radio file solves this =))

Does not work for me. Also, in hot spot advanced settings, if you press on "Restore Defaults" the application crashes.

Works here. straight autoloader for the 1047. I noticed that when I first set it up, even tho I selected usb, it set it to bluetooth. Changed it and it works fine.

stl100-3 on t-mo

After struggling unsuccessfully to get the hotspot working on AT&T stl 100-3 I decided to go a different route.

Restored to stock via BB Link and went through setup and then security wipe.

Created autoloader with 1047 os and 810 radio. Loaded, went through setup, reloaded all my apps and sideloads and the 810 runtime.

Restored media and settings only without issue.

And - Mobile hotspot is now working! Tried it twice and hope it doesn't go wonky on me. If it does, at least I have a clean OS at this point. Phone calls, incoming and outgoing, along with VVM are working perfectly as well.

Edit: I used sachesi beta 13 for the restore from a 810 backup

Yeah, I had pretty much deduced it was a radio issue, just didn't want to have to go through the route of flashing the 810 radio. Guess imma have to do that.

I wonder what the difference is between the Z and Q radios that they don't get affected. :/

Since I have downloaded every leak since the beginning of time, I just used Darcy's tools to split the autoloaders (for my device) for the 810 and 1047 and then built them accordingly. So far no issues, but we know how that can change... I think if you follow the same route with the radio/os files for your device you probably will be ok.

on VZW/STL100-4...hotspot works after sideloading the bar file, but it disconnects due to no activity even though there is....so I set my timer to 60 minutes...after it shuts off, I have to reboot the phone to activate mobile hotspot again...kinda PITA, but hey, I'm using it...
