I backed up old 10.1, then updated with autoloader, restored all old data to phone, then wiped it because i messed up some account stuff, restored again.

This is how I got it working.
Performed a hard reboot (switch off phone, remove battery and reinsert). Without doing anything else, enter settings and switch on your tether and it switched on fine. Switch the tether off and get into the wifi Hotspot settings. Don't switch on the Hotspot yet.
Select configure within hotspot and at the bottom bar, select default settings and save. Then reconfigure the Hotspot as you want it and now try to switch it on.

I'm not sure which part worked but this was the routine that got it working for me. I had done a lot of hard reboots in the past and am sure that alone wasn't getting it working. It's probably the combination of hard reboot and default settings.

But you guys could give it a try.

Now it works only once per reboot. The second time gives me the Country error and won't work thereafter. The tether will also not work after getting this error on the Hotspot.
I better stick to tether only on this build.

Hot spot working for me. Failed the first time. Did some button smashing and it gestuing and it worked

Mine didn't work, just hung on connecting. I tried editing the settings by just changing the ide time from 15min to 12min and then it connected. It may just need a change in the settings to rewrite the settings file and get it working.

Restart your phone. go into configure Hotspot. Reset to default settings. Enter the Hotspot password and save. Try connecting now.
It worked for me. But I have to restart every time I want to use Hotspot.

Wifi not working, using STL100-1 with XL Axiata indonesia. wonder why is it because every time i want to save a hotspot profile the setting apps just crash... hope there will be a fix for it, anything else is awesome in 10.2 .

Actually, I am on .810. It connects but bugs out when I VPN. I thought this leak would have corrected so I wanted to make sure before I made the switch. Looks like neither one works 100%.

The 10.1 leak that I was on worked great. Wonder if we can pull the bar files for that radio? If so, who can supply or help with that?

Would you be able to post a link to the radio. I don't want to download the entire OS over 3G as my wifi is down.
