I still have the original FB and Whatsapp still working but my point is that these services which plug in to our phones and are a part of what makes sharing a picture or text or file on our devices so seamless. When you have to now take two or three more steps to get the same thing accomplished then you've lost the attraction of what made the OS so appealing. The lockscreen and HUB notifications with seamless in and out of the app without actually opening it is what brought me here and now that it is shedding it's leaves in the fall like a maple tree, I find myself asking at which point do I get the same efficiency and functionality or more from a newer android phone.
I am still hanging in with my Passport but not going to get as emotional as some about it, just stating the facts about our state of reality which is we are now on an OS that we can all fear any update that comes, for that next update may remove something else that we enjoyed. That's not speculation that proven.
