Email notification customization is present in my phone.. how did you install this leak? From scratch or did you just install the newest .bar files?

I tried to restore but that was another problem. BlackBerry link prepared to restore then stopped suddenly so I stopped trying to restore. I added one email account and it's not showing up. I've tried resetting and deleting and re-adding the email account. No dice

That might be the culprit, try to do a full autoloader maybe? and then don't restore

too many bugs with this particular build. one being battery life, BlackBerry Link restore problems and connectivity issues.

You can't really generalise like that until you do a completely clean install with no restore.

It seems like you have some corruption in your previous setup that is impacting both your backup file and your new setup.

I agree. I did a complete wipe. I didn't restore BlackBerry runtime or settings. My phone is working fantastic and battery life has improved over 10.3.1.1154.

This was the first time I've ever done a full restore after installing a leak. Everything is working well for me. Haven't found any issues yet.

Verizon Z10 coming from 1154.

Hi all,

I did a search on this thread (did not read every post) and I found something just now (hopefully has not exists prior to this leak)

I am able to hide pictures!!!

Just go into the pictures app, long press a picture or use the menu to 'select more'.

There is an option to 'Mark to Hide', select all the pictures you want to hide, after doing so hit 'Mark to Hide'. Then you can swipe down from the top screen, and pick 'Hide items' from the menu that appears.

Voila! pictures are hidden from regular browsing!

Again, I am not sure if this is new or not, but I believe so.

That's a narrow view. For instance, my wife is pregnant (Due in a couple of weeks) and we have been taking pictures of her as she has been growing. Many of the pictures she would rather not pop up as I'm showing people other pictures on my phone, so I hide them. There are actually a lot of reasons someone may not want pictures popping up by accident. Some of those reasons are to protect your significant other, not hide things from him/her. Just sayin..

If you don't use the cloud for your contacts, use a 3rd party app like Ultimate Backup.

You're not giving them your contacts. You can backup to your sd card.
