Hey all,

When I try to make a call on my VZW Z30, I get the error "Call Failure - The call could not be connected. Please try again later."

So I have to put it in airplane mode and then take it back out of it.

This is the second or third time I have come across this, but it looks like the radio isn't stable.

Anyone else coming across this issue? I used the autoloader with no restore thereafter.

I've had call trouble with the Z30 and Verizon also. Says network busy when trying to make a call sometimes. Has happened twice since I loaded leak.

Possibly a local issue. Zero problems here, with at least 20 calls in and out since loading.

I had the same issue yesterday with my Verizon Z30. Did a hard reboot and it fixed the issue.

Loaded the leak...
Coming in from 10.2.1 and it feels like a divorce phone altogether... all the animations are really fluid...

Will monitor battery live and sharp my results... overall.. its very smooth... fast and no issues until now!

Go for it whoever is on the edge... load it up.. its awesome.

Hey, so I've answered this 3 times now, you're going to have to downgrade the radio to 939. As long as you installed this leak via autoloader, all you have to do is download the 939 RADIO autoloader hook up to usb and run it. It takes about 2 minutes and fixes the problem. 939 is the last radio that is stable on the Verizon z30.

I just noticed that battery saving mode is no longer available as a quick setting. That sucks because I like to turn it off sometimes and it made it easy. Also if I wasn't using my phone for a while I would turn it on.

It's there for me. I mean, I have it un-checked so it's not in my Quick Settings, but it is one of the listed items in Settings - Quick Settings.

i downgraded to a earlier version and i downloaded ultimate backup. it solved my restoring contacts issue. i went back to 1949 and it still doesn't identify the sd card. like i said before, too many bugs with 1949 and that's not a generalization.

And I share his opinion.
Some are worse than others, and some went for days without issues, but the issues usually cropped up eventually. Sometimes I didn't know for days that SMS messages never got to me. Have not had a problem yet on 939. Hopefully your luck continues. I'd really like to think that BB is addressing this, because I'm afraid there may never be an official 10.3.1 for the VZW Z30 - a release that is tested, known to work, and actually pushed out by Verizon.

It is a generalization. Too many bugs for you, maybe. There is a fix for the SD Card issue. I actually have not encountered any bugs. Not a single issue, and I have a lot of accounts on this thing and have been running it pretty hard for days now. I am running 1949 on a VZW Z30 using radio 939.

I'm confident that this is a common Verizon z30 bug. It only applies to Verizon z30's my z10 does not have the issue.

Several different people have posted the same issue in this thread.

Sorry, I'm not in a position to search it out for you right now, but you say you have tried it already and it didn't help you. I did not encounter that issue. The one I read about had to do with a driver download error. Is that your problem?
Maybe you and 1949 are just not meant to be. :-)

Have you tried to click "Restore Defaults" on the bottom bar?

Z30/Classic, or another model, cause it's not on mine either.

I'm confident that this is a common Verizon z30 bug. It only applies to Verizon z30's my z10 does not have the issue.

I'll rephrase: To My knowledge no one has posted on this forum that they had an issue with 939 However many people With Verizon Z30s have reported issues with all radios after that Weather it was SMS issues or the more recent Network availability error. If you are experiencing these problems Downgrading to the 939 radio seems to fix the issues.

I have verizon z30 but using on AT&T network. Calls connect fine for both making and receiving.

Can't imagine life w/o Blackberry

Z30STA100-3/10.3.1.1949 no sms/mms or call problems. For work I'm constantly on the phone and haven't had those problems since early days of 10.3.1. It is weird though.

I had no problems w/ 1155 radio and so far I've had no problems w/ 1950 radio on my Verizon z30 though as I've mentioned before I use it on AT&T

Definitely weird, but VZW has always had weird issues.
