Microsoft recently begun moving away from SSL security because they discovered a a security leak. I can't remember the tool they are recommending right this second. I think it might be TTL. So I agree with your decision to leave it off. Just file away in the back of your mind that you may want to log into a website someday that requires SSL and that you will need to temporarily toggle that one on in order to log in.

It wasn't just Microsoft but rather all IT companies because SSL v3 is susceptible to a POODLE attack:

Microsoft just made a lot of noise about it to get people to change their servers to disable SSL v3 which is on by default, and instead rely on TLS 1.0 or later.

TLS = Transport Layer Security and is the replacement/evolution of SSL = Secure Socket Layer.

To make this response somewhat topical to the leak, people should absolutely leave SSL v3 DISABLED unless they absolutely have to use it because a website doesn't support TLS 1.0 or later. I'm glad BlackBerry has this disabled by default now but provides us a work around. :-)

Has anyone been able to get BeBuzz to work on this leak? I had it working great on 1151, but now all it gives is the default red blink. Have tried the notification settings every way I can think of.

I did a full restore from 1154, no issues. Settled in about 2 hours.

used autoloader on Z3, everything seems to be OK, hub also working, great! wifi seems to have improved although ofcourse the radio is still the same, but better signal on my porch.

Ran auto loader followed by full restore. Upgraded from 1154 to Z30STA100-5/10.3.1.1949.
Been about 14hrs since restore .

OS has not settled yet, still experiencing battery drains.
BBM takes a while to open from the hub.

Everything else is ok. OS is smooth andriod apps including Instagram runs smoothly. Instagram is smooth.
No lagging with camera.
Blend works.
No major differences.

Would recommend as daily driver. Hoping that os settles in soon.. I have multiple emails and social accounts and tons of contacts so this is normal for me. Will report back tomorrow on battery life.

STUPID STUPID OS 10.3.1!!!
Every 10.3.1 OS i tried so far has the same bug!
All my contacts are saved on my SIM card. On 10.2.1.xxx it reads the contacts perfectly with their phone numbers.
On 10.3.1.xxx contacts appear but from some contacts the phone numbers dissappear>.
Even after reboot theyre not coming back.
When i load 10.2.1.xxx on the device the lost phone numbers are back.

How to fix this???
I hope BlackBerry fix this thing before official launch

A lot of weirdness with my contacts, which are solely located in my gmail contacts. Initially every one was duplicated on this Z10 but several seem to have dropped down to only one instance. When I look at the contact list at Gmail, there are no duplications.

Granted, this is a Z10-3 and I used the SirJes-created hybrid autoloader so my expectations have been low. I'm downloading the original for my Z30 now... hopefully it's better in this regard.

This is my first look at 10.3 and I like everything I've seen so far.

Here also. I sync Gmail for mail, contacts, and calendar. Works like a lucky charm.

Hey moodyk13, I was going to quite you, but it was taking too long to remove all that text for your pictures.

I have installed this OS, with autoloader, was curious about the device monitor. Mine is still the same, with the menu on the left side. Are you using a Q10? I think this app may be device specific. I noticed on my brother's Z10 10.3.1.1154 that he has less icons on the bottom and more are on the side menu, compared to my Z30

I that device monitor pic was from my z30. I haven't loaded to my q10 yet. Will prob do so in just a few minutes.

I did have to open dm then reboot phone to get it to actually work though. It has worked all day.

Battery life is better on this build. Wouldn't say a HUGE difference but def better than 1154.

Also, I had to delete "Home Screen Plus" (formerly know as 'wallpaper changer hd') and download again to get it to work.

So far I haven't found anything that doesn't work, but I have not tried every thing yet.

Bugs so far: Z30
(1) Camera no longer works
(2) Battery overheats
(3) BBM no video or chat only text
(4) Slow, Screen freezes to point the system has to be shut down.
(5) Cannot access pictures only get tulips push image identifications as a result finding it hard to do picture password will have to go onto the computer to find out image number.

(6)Wifi still trying to connect to multiple connections will connect- disconnect, connect-disconnect.
Will wait until morning if no improvement will have to wipe and reload.

Hm... Not sure

It was present on previous builds, although a full restore failed to set it up properly. I had to set the threshold and the rollover date again.

(this is regarding monthly mobile data usage)

Installed it when it first came out with security wipe then autoloader, zero problems for me so far . I'll fill in the poll once I've ventured into the outside world to test the radio and battery

Trying hard reset.

Fixes:
Wifi finally works stays connected without the constant connect disconnect

camera works fine for me so does battery bbm is buggy though and pics work fine how did you update ?

has this build corrected the bad Bluetooth drain on paired devices? ie Pebble? The previous build killed the Pebble in 2 days if your lucky.

Take the.memory card out. Then reboot the BlackBerry. Once it's up, insert your SD card. Will download and it will work

Nope.. it's still there. Once you back to Hub from any message, it will pop up for 2-3 seconds.
