I know, mate...just this time it's bugging me. The devs have worked really hard on this and I actually want to get my masters in programming and business computing and try get a job at BB because I appreciate what they're doing and I know how tough the work is.

Y'all realize that this build with the UI inconsistencies and the departure from Blue to the Red coloring plus a few other features are the start of more UI customization. That's what the big leap is in 10.3

Either way, if anybody wants to try just putting the BBM from 10.3 onto 10.2.1; here is the link (again, thanks to Thurask) just open the link and hit ctrl+f and type BBM. Then click the little icon in the bottom right of the rectangle:

I've just installed it and waiting for my device to reboot...will test (but not holding my breath).

EDIT: Okay, it works...I just can't tell what''s different. When checking the version of the BBM I'm using, it says 10.3.3.68.

Can anybody tell me what's new in BBM 10.3?

not a fan of the removal of genres tab in music player in favor for song list, I use genres a lot.

Looks like search has been replace with the intelligent assistant.

Well it might be soon since this build is actually from February...early Feb in fact. Hopefully in the next month or so, we will see another 10.3 build...though it will most likely still have watermarks and be an early alpha.

just have to think that doing the leak in the first place is just brilliant for development of the OS. How many bugs are they realizing so they can fix them before this goes back to the developers for more fixes. This would be an invaluable tool and even more valued information then even a beta tester can give them. Im thinking these leaks(or supposed leaks) could be from internal. Do you want 25-100 beta testers or thousands? im going with the thousands. Thats the use of your core audience to help with development. Sure some of the comments will be ignored but the vast majority will be fixed and implemented into the OS. Its called social testing. Brilliant. When you dont have the billions of dollars that an apple or Samsung might have you use what you can for testing. i cant think of a better use for forums then this. I think the people at blackberry are alot smarter then you might think.

Yup I'm also using it on my daily z10, I have one question for you.... How are your charge times looking? My first charge took me about 4 hours, and it just reached 80 or so %, even worse is that I'm using the Playbook charger would charges about twice as fast lol. How is yours thus far?

Well you got me there... Charging time was extremely high the first 2 times. About 4-6 h with stock charger!! playbook chargerd did it in 3h30 min (+-).

What i also fpund out is that i cannot set the sync time from my mail accountsvto 30 min or higher. It always goes back to 15min....

It clashes only because some things are still blue. Its a VERY early build.

No, it clashes because it's not a good colour for this OS. It looks better when it's red and white vs red and black. It clashes even where there isn't blue remnants.

What purpose does changing it to red serve? Nobody complained about the blue; there are many about the red.

Ask a user of a different platform to guess which OS the white and red is from (show a section of the settings app, for example) and I'd be surprised if they didn't say iOS.

It's not a luxury car either for those comparing it to that. I think there should be an option for the colour if they choose to keep it because some do like it.

An easy fix for the record button in the camera could be to have "rec" in the centre of it. I think it'd be pretty clear what it was for then.

-Every apps works fine.
-loving the flat UI. Makes me feel like I'm using an iPhone with IOS7.
Red theme seems fin
-panorama and burst works fine on camera app.
-Select mode in typing seems easy.
-calls and sms working. No problem with it.

Cons:
-I can feel that my phone became a bit sluggish. Like i type faster becore it appears in the screen and make it's key sounds. But swiping seems a lot faster
-keyboard sometimes disappears.
-Camera has bug.



All in all i love the design.

Just in case, not sure if it has already been posted that way. And yes I read every single post (thx really for bringing them up to 1k so fast :P)

So lets concentrate on the awesome new feature additions, cause that's what matters in the first place (at least to me).
UI/UX is very important too, but first I wanna have features available, that was the initial reason I stuck with BlackBerry (yeah I know, don't get me startin')
I don't need a piece of art in my pocket, it has to be the perfect tool and I mean as perfect as possible! (remember the nokia communicator? fugly but did save me tons of time)
So please stop thinking bout that red accent color.W/e highlight/signature color they're going for, it will not be for everybody anyways.
