New handy feature is that when you reboot your phone, all open apps that were open at the time of loss of power, remain open upon power on.

That's normal, just run a Q10 radio autoloader to fix that.

My thoughts so far:
- Android apps runs much faster
- red isn't all that bad, there are a few apps like Facebook that isn't rendering well on all screens. I'm sure it will be fixed over time.
- my idle battery stuff face down I believe works. How to test? Lol
- picture password reqd a reboot to kick in
- runs less hot and this is after loading today
- will gauge battery after a full charge tonight

Load any Q10 radio to be able to boot. You won't have phone calls or texting, as that requires a 10.3 radio for Q10 (which doesn't exist yet).

When I downloaded I just get a bunch of different files and don't know what to do with them.

Because there is ONLY 4 files, and 1 of the files is named "LOAD.BAT", it could not be any clearer than that. I suppose that file could have been named "dbl-click-on-this-file-not-any-of-the-other-files-as-this-is-the-file-you-need-run-to-load-the-files-and-bat-files-are-essentially-executable-and-the-others-are-not-if-still-unable-to-figure-this-out-check-google-for-file-extensions-to-see-what-files-can-be-executed.bat"

Keep in mind, I do not restore anything, I have what I need saved on my 32Gig SD Card. My contacts & calendar is connected to my email account. My settings & everything is set fresh.

Okay, I've just read through 40 pages of mostly people whining about one of the following:

- the new look isn't what they like/people who don't like the new look are stupid
- no STL100-1 (Which I have), Z30 or Q10 (I don't recall seeing any complaints about Q5) autoloaders.
- Can't get rid of the Watermarks
- Don't know how to install the autoloader
- Nobody will answer me about whether I should install this as my daily driver!

^This really isn't cool...I know I'm not a moderator but this type of nonsense shouldn't be posted in this thread. Just reading the first two or three pages answered all of these questions.

HOWEVER, in between all that, were some awesome new features!

Thanks to Thurask, Bla1ze, Ofutur and all the other people that installed this and uploaded pictures etc.

I think that the new update is awesome. My brother happens to have the Z10 STL100-2 and I've recommended he go and get this after reading the thread. He uses his Z10 to film his group's Firepoi (no I'm not going to link them because I'm not an advert-*****) and he thinks the 720p HFR (High Frame Rate) will be awesome for the recording to slow-down some of the more awesome tricks they do.

I actually REALLY like the grey/red look. Though options are always better...and I wouldprobably alternate every now and then just for change.

Just like I think there should be an option for either the new call screen or the old one; or the squircle or the boring loading animation.

I think we should be able to choose our base colour (the black/grey), our accent colour (red/blue) and the "disabled" tint (darker grey/bright turquoise - whatever)...this would require some coding to pull a previously specified hex colour value but shouldn't be too difficult.

I'm incredibly excited for the face-down-to-lock thing and the lift to unlock thing. My colleague got a STL100-1 (first smart phone - also, I never realised how sexy the Z10 in white is until I saw it in person!) and I told him about these new features and he said they're really cool (he doesn't care for phones, he got the Z10 because it supports dual language properly for English and Afrikaans - and because he paid $45 for it [my insurance claim]).

TL;DR: Whiners, shaddap. Constructive criticism is cool, not whining. I think it's awesome and I'm excited to try it when it is available for the STL100-1!
