Like I stated above, we didn't get GPS, but we did in fact get an updated android runtime.
So I did some further testing, and I downloaded Simpson tapped out knowing that before it didn't work without manually adding the OBB files. Well guess what, it downloaded everything without the need to manually add the OBB files and it does indeed work (note that when you get on the 'set age page' you'll have to tap MANY times before it actually let's you input you age...

Edit: unfortunately, we still can't sign in onto google maps...

Wow, that's a pretty old build. No surprise hearing yesterday's tip from an inside source saying it is an outdated version. Considering 20 builds a day, for 7 weeks, we should be at 10.3.0.1120 by now . Purely hypothetical, but still wondering how it is today. And it makes me think that we'll get 10.2.2 within weeks.

And they seem to work night shifts to bring BlackBerry back on track!

Music player seems to be left entirely out of the design and OS upgrade consideration at this point in this particular branch. For me, I was/ am looking for several upgrades to the OS in no particular order 1) Landscape media player 2) EQ in media player 3) BT Heart rate monitor support for the Android player 4) Auto On/Off/sleep. Most of this was available in BB7/ 7.1 so it only seemed natural that several years into the development of the OS and more than a year since it's initial release we might at least see them in the leaks of the OS that will be at developer's gold in 3 months. Perhaps they are in the 10.2.2 branch. One can only hope.

PS. I don't understand the fragmented nature of the OS colors. I would think that it would be most logical to code backgrounds and font colors in one section of the OS layer and the various programs should just make calls to them. This would allow for a great deal of personalization (sort of theming) the OS. But my experience in this field is tremendously limited, so if another with OS development experience can chime in, that would be helpful.

Running a few hours on this baby, no problems so far, OS is very snappy, no random restarts and crashes on my Z10, the new camera is amazing and I like the red color and flat design.
The only thing that I don't like so far is that the search button on homescreen now launches the interactive voice control, I was used to quick search commands and can't find how to activate the universal search again.

Did anyone get Google+ working? Chrome works fine for me, Gmaps too, but no luck with G+ which is the only apo that I miss on BB10 now.

EDIT: My fault, the universal search works, didn't think the little text field is related to it, earlier the keyboard popped out automatically. So it works like previously + with the voice assistance as a bonus. I'm OK with that

When there is an autoloader for the Z30 I will probably take the plunge. I'd wait for a more stable version but I don't think I can!!

Anyone else have issues with blue tooth not turning on? I pressed the blue tooth a bunch of times and it opened a debug box in the bottom left. Showed CPU, FPS, and a bunch of other things. It doesn't show up in screen shots however.

Yeah... long press an icon, top right is the trash, and another corner could be a small eye to hide it. It would only reappear when long pressing another icon an choosing the same eye again.

I actually loaded the new browser, 10.3.0.7, over 10.2.1.2234 and it is working fine on Z10 stl100-3. It was broken until a volume key restart. Have not done any benchmark comparisons, but everything is fully functional and seems as quick or quicker than before.

Since I will probably not load the full OS, at least this gives me a taste of the new red theme.

Red has no place here.Its blue ,black and has damn graphics. This fairy flat **** is garbage there's a limit as someone said the world is 3rd not flat. Spend all money on gpus for the **** to look like kids nursery book fix up. The clock absolutely decimated smh. I actually liked the boxes around the icons if they had them do something like light up in a colour to indicate this app was open would of been great but hey.

What's funny is BB's original blocky flat icons are now in vogue very funny. People complained and we back to flat lol.No boxes around the icons is fine its just the PB to me no difference. Functionalty features are great its great.But The Dev team need more bottle then just conforming and copying whats trending aka apple. Your not apple there designs are not great or benchmarks really stop copying them. Especially considering TAT are android before android..

On the design front I expect better than this copying crap later on.This is an early build of some kind but there needs to be better.. Flat sucks period. Even **** graffiti has 3D elements to it.

Dude you are over reacting. The design is right Red and Black is Sexy as hell. The OS looks like a Blood ninja ready to take on anything. It looks mature and premium.

I noticed that apps that are open when doing a reboot are saved and still open after the reboot, kinda cool, but I'm usually doing a reboot because something isn't working and I'm closing everything. I might pop my sim in my Z10 and run it for a few days as my daily, but probably not.
