Why do people download this is if it is not official? Isn't there a risk to this?

I could be wrong, but part of the BlackBerry security is that you cannot load OS not created by Blackberry. The risk may be just dealing with bugs in the software if it is a version not finally released to the public.

Thanks, but can you give us more detail without giving too much away

Is it as simple as what the title says it is, is it a leaked Final version OS that was made into an autoloader so we can upgrade without having to wait for OTA

Or is it like a Gold build or something?

It's kind of ironic that a final OS could be leaked from a company all about security.

Just want to know more detail before I decide to install or not...

Nobody is forced to do anything ...
    Just some way

    others way
security is so strong that no one can edit anything in OS
when you try edit autoloaders you canot load it to phone becouse is not crypto signed anymore

There's zero risk. Why are you concerned about others phones? If YOU don't want to install, that's completely understandable. But don't question why others won't do what you want them NOT to do. That's kind of weird.

Download the package to your desktop, unzip, plug in phone, backup phone, start the unzipped program, wait, reboot, unplug phone, enjoy.

Download file, use an extractor for .rar files (like 7-zip, c-net has it or G**gle for one) and then run the .exe per OP's original instructions.
Easy peasy and I'm so excited, almost done!!
