I can't explain why this worked for me before, so see if it works for you. I'm curious if anyone else can replicate this:

    -close your music app
    -open the file manager app
-navigate to the directory with your music
-find a picture file with the name folder.jpg
-tap on it to view it
    -close the file manager app
-then open up the music app and see if your album art comes up.

Tell me if that works, hopefully I can get it to work again when I install the leak
    Nope did not work

Sorry if I missed someone else posting this. But the only annoyance I have right now is when I'm in a BBM message in the hub I can't swipe back to the hub, takes 3-4-5-6 swipes before it goes back. And it only seems to be the BBM messages that I have a problem, email, txt, etc all are fine.

When my BlackBerry is locked, i try to slide up to see the notifications instead of unlocking. However now it brings me straight to unlock password screen. I just want to view my notification...without unlocking.

Thanks for sharing this piece of feedback! I had heard that they were going to shrink the SEND button a bit because many people (including myself) kept sending incomplete messages by accident when we go to hit the period button and accidentally hit SEND. Although after re-reading your post, can you clarify whether the font on the SEND text is smaller but the button is still the same size, or the button itself (along with the font size) is now smaller? Thanks!
My apologies for not being clear. It is indeed the FONT that is smaller. The button appears to be the same size in portrait and landscape modes.

Noticed in the file manager app it is defaulted to sort by date in descending order by default now.

Before, I remember I always had to change the sort to date descending. Now it is the default.

And this is a clean install, no restore from backup.

***Correction, I think it was only when navigating the Box directory that it was sorted by name.***

For me this is a pretty big step change from Verizon's official 10.0.9.x, so thank you!

Installing was fairly easy, but found a few hiccups with the restore. I had to add my BlackBerry ID and my BlackBerry balanced account before BlackBerry Link let me restore. I had some issues with contacts, but hoping that is mostly behind me. I also had to reenter all of my account passwords.

Initial findings after just a few hours.

    Positives:
    - keyboard seems better and has green highlights
    - correction circle is much improved with four way touch to navigate
    - calendar works in landscape
    - fonts seem smaller in the hub, more visible
    - my two pc's now show up in the file manager (haven't figured out how to access my files yet, though)
    - pin messaging is there (never used it)
    - improved calculator with unit converter
    - hdr camera
    - noticed next day, top and bottom navigation in messages (may have been there)
    - BlackBerry World navigation
    - several app upgrades
    - slightly better changing to phone call only mode
    - various bugs gone

    Negatives:
    - lagged for a while (seemed to calm down now)
    - above challenges with upgrade and contacts
    - verizon's backup software still doesn't fully run
    - many contacts needed to be relinked
    - haven't figured out how to access my pc files yet
    - still can't save password in voicemail
    - still lacks quick display brightness changing like my pb (too many clicks)

I'm sure I'll observe more and I'm anxious to see how the battery does, as I was on the original os.

Looking forward to reading other people 's findings. Thanks again!

I've been having a bizarre bug since .1720. I was hoping this new OS would fix it, but I just ran into it again.

After some time, when I try to open the Twitter app, it asks me to login again, even though my account is linked to the phone. Pressing Sign In brings me to the account page to update my password, but updating the password and returning to the app just results in an endless spinning circle in the app. A reboot fixes it however. What could be going wrong?

STL-100-1 with 1720. Stable and fast. Word prediction looks less spot on than 1627.

I am thinking how do these leaks come in being? From one of the phones ( which already has learnt words? Or from BlackBerry site?) reason I am asking this because with 1627 T-Mobile would get suggested if space was touched. Now I had never used or read that word after rebuilding my Z10 with the leak.

And this is just a curious question, not a crib.
