If I am connected to my work's ActiveSync server, is it like the BES where they have to reset my activation password or something similar before I reconnect after upgrading? Or can I just put my settings back in once I update the OS and it will reconnect. Just want to know if I should email my help desk and have them reset me as I can't be without work email over the weekend. Thanks!

First leaked OS on the z10. I have a Verizon-4. I have been using this leak for half the day so far and my battery life is worse, a lot worse. The settings menu loads very slowly (10-15s). Random reboots still occuring. Overall the usability improvements I have noticed are not worth the worst phone battery life I have ever had getting even worse. The boot time is unknown which is odd. Going back to the most recent Verizon release.

Manually save your files and start fresh. It's always better to start fresh. It avoids lots of issues.

1762 is more fluid and smooth. And also battery life is great. There is also 1627 that was leaked in between. So check the forum page for 1627 and you will see what else has changed

It takes almost one day to stabilize os after fresh install. First timers have patience. Even I was scared when I had installed first leaked os. Contacts took almost 3 hrs to appears and battery was very hot on first day but second day onwards, got usual.

You can't manually save your application data though. Like I don't want to lose my game saves and such, that's the issue /:

All these leaks aren't coming from carriers. They are ahead of any carriers OS.

So you're saying it was grabbed by someone else from BlackBerry itself? I just don't know but I'm having second thoughts on this.

Its a leak...It is still an official release from BlackBerry just not from your carrier. Somebody receives this to test and it gets leaked out to us.

So...installed and working great but still no H+ on Bmobile but i blame that on not being on a genuine Z10 plan from them (supposed to be switched already but they're sticking). So, end result...am downgrading as we speak.
Are you using the latest sim card?

At first I just took my old iphone sim and put it in the Z10 and only got 4G. Then I went in and got a new sim card and I finally was able to get LTE. Didn't need to switch plans. At least for Rogers...

Sorry I should have been more clear...some of them load others do not but in link/media player they are fine.

I can't explain why this worked for me before, so see if it works for you. I'm curious if anyone else can replicate this:

    -close your music app
    -open the file manager app
-navigate to the directory with your music
-find a picture file with the name folder.jpg
    -Delete the file (folder.jpg)
    -close the file manager app
-then open up the music app and see if your album art comes up. (may take 1 to 2 minutes to populate)

Tell me if that works, hopefully I can get it to work again when I install the leak

How do you load your songs in the phone? BlackBerry Link?
Try to drag the files to the SD or phone memory and let me know.
