That's his/her take on this. Only you can decide what works on your z or what not.

No one pointing gun to your head to load this puppy.

Well I just felt that comments like this are dangerous,

and misleading in tearms of untested software

So far there is about one useful page of information here and ten pages of useless comments.
Why do people feel the need to tell others they are going to download? Or they are satisfied with what they are running already? Or any of the other inane posts? Is this your only outlet to society?
Pointless posting reduces the usefulness and functionality of the these threads when one needs to filter out 90% of the comments.
I thought this before too but it helps show the popularity and willingness of people installing the leak...so it does serve a purpose. And yes this is our only outlet to Crackberry society.

Chances are 10.1 has been on feature lockdown for sometime now, so you won't be seeing much apart from performance, stability, and battery life improvements anymore.

Fudge. Having major issues after the manual reset. First attempt to restore failed with a communication error and the phone rebooted itself. After that, it would not connect to Link. Reloading the OS again now.

Please guys, pray to the BlackBerry gods for me.
Success. Sorry -- did not mean to scare anyone off. This is the first time I've had any kind of issues loading a leak. Second time was a charm.

The device seems to run a bit quicker. Too soon to tell on battery life, but I'm sure it's on par with .116. I might be hallucinating but the 'SEND' text on the keyboard looks a bit smaller; really odd.
Thanks for sharing this piece of feedback! I had heard that they were going to shrink the SEND button a bit because many people (including myself) kept sending incomplete messages by accident when we go to hit the period button and accidentally hit SEND.

Although after re-reading your post, can you clarify whether the font on the SEND text is smaller but the button is still the same size, or the button itself (along with the font size) is now smaller?

    Thanks!

It is called a command line application .
And they are easier to write than a gui which you do not need for internal use only. A gui is great for consumers and users but these are leaks meant for techies.

    Posted via CB10
We don't need no stinking gui.

But yes, this process is eons better than the old BBOS autoloader.

I'm having trouble "active syncing" with my company's Exchange server. Outlook.com active sync works fine. But my work email is there one minute and gone the next. Same with calendar entries and contacts. Very strange.

Can someone who's installed this leak AND is on Rogers please confirm whether this leak allows you to edit your APN settings? I'm running 10.1.0.1627 and the APN settings are still greyed out. My previous leak before that was 10.0.10.116 and that one allowed me to edit my APN settings. Would be nice to get that feature back on a 10.1 build.

    Thanks!

you do realize -- you are doing exactly what you are claiming is "ruining" this thread... right?
Yes, the irony isn't lost on me but my efforts are noble. I'm trying to improve the sole resource that the BlackBerry community has in improving not only their devices but BlackBerry as a whole. What are you doing?

Strange, I only had a wait issue with Yahoo on a previous leak, but I always need to wait before I can reconnect to my exchange account at university.
