Good for you. Tried 1743, 1767, and 1791. All of them had these issues. Had to go back to the official 10.1. I'll just wait for the official 10.2 release.

STL 100-2 | back to 10.1.0.1481 (because the flash player in 10.2 is busted)
I was on 1725 and have no issues on that either. 1791 is working great for me and have encountered no problems at all. I'm finding it weird that you have all these issues.

I usually do a security wipe when I update my phone, maybe that resolves the issues which many people are facing in this OS

Any suggestions guys? My android runtime boots up to the black screen with blue bar; loads a bit and then crashes; this happens with ported apps on BB World & sideloaded apps via debug token

Try holding the volume keys down until the device reboots, once it's loaded, try them then...

Hard reboot/battery pull. Or reload the runtime.

No dice with hard reset. How would I go about installing the runtime again, I'm using STL-3 with Fido; just installed this leak over the maintenence release 10.1

Honestly you need to give it a week to settle in, also don't put your phone in bedside mode as that lengthens the process of settling in that takes a lot more than 48 hours.
And some leaks are worse than others....

Just got around to installing this leak today, coming from .1767. Only issue so far is that I can't rename the device (settings>about>device name). If I change it to anything other than the default, I get an error message telling me I can't use certain characters, etc. And no, I'm not using strange stuff...just letters and two numbers. Even if I just delete one letter from the default name, I get that message.

Never had this issue before. Only thing I did differently on this install is I forgot to do a security wipe before I added all my emails, FB, Twitter, sideloaded apps, etc. I didn't do any kind of restore. I'm probably gonna ignore this as I'm not feeling like doing a wipe and adding everything again.

Look for one of the leaked ones and sideload it just like an app.

U.S. T-Mobile SQN-100-5 here. Clean, wiped install, no recovery.

I too am having issues with Skype force closing, but most of all I'm having network connection issues...on side-loaded Android apps...I'm running the 10.2.1.5 runtime. Anybody else experiencing this? It shows I'm connected to both WiFi and T-Mobile...although my coverage normally will say "4G" and be about 4-5 bars...currently it's only showing 1-2 bars...not having problems elsewhere...just Android apps...attached a few examples. Are there some settings that I'm missing or need to input?

Any help would be appreciated...don't know if it's a Android runtime issue or actually something I'm missing in my connection settings...

Is there a space between the characters?

I notice that the battery life is significantly improved compared to the last leak (10.2.0.1767) and heats up less.

Great battery life for me too. Only issue I'm seeing is with the CB10 app. It's pretty laggy and stutters. Also seems to randomly jump to the next page of forum posts. Weird!

Property the only thing that makes me want to go from 10.2.0.1767 to 10.2.0.1791 is the language bug that's the only reason :P

Loaded this up over .1767 on my Z10, noticed this so far:

-A very minor stutter or two when the Agreement and the Additional Updates are loading during the setup, but they're really not a big deal, it's silky smooth for the most part.
-Phone still seizes up while it loads the Help app after tapping Help in any of preloaded apps.
-Still a bug if you access the settings in the Search app, where the Categories and Extended options won't show up unless you exit and re-enter the settings.
-Still the typical issues with Remote File Access, though I get the feeling this is more to do with BlackBerry Link than the OS.
-The screen is still black when swiping up from the lockscreen into an app, right up until you complete the swipe. If this is a feature... why? It's always done this when the password lock is enabled, but it shouldn't be doing this when the password isn't active, it serves no useful purpose.
-If you're on the lockscreen, you can swipe down from the middle of the screen to shut the screen off. This was present in .1725, but seemed to be absent in .1767. (doesn't always work)

I'm not sure it's worth an upgrade over .1767 for most, but it does feel smoother - it usually bogs down quite badly while syncing all my accounts up, but this time I haven't noticed too much stuttering of any sort. A lot of people are reporting better battery life too, which is always nice, but I haven't been using it long enough to comment on that.

When you're on the lockscreen, swipe a little bit up starting at the bottom, then back down to shut the screen off.

I'm aware of that one, but you don't have to start from the bottom for this - just start swiping from the middle of the screen. Having said that, it doesn't seem to always work for some reason. I'll add that to the post.

Unload and re-sideload your apps. And look for updated versions before you sideload.
