All my attempts with Amazon appStore have turned unsuccessful : no app worked correctly.
I've since installed 1mobile.com and successfully installed/run Instagram.

Alright, I've just DL and installed latest leak on my Q10.
starting from there, with no particular precautions, I've ran the track to install amazon app store right away.
It has been somehow cahotic and I've been trying several times before it gets installed. Here's the link to DL/install it : Install Amazon Appstore
But here it is.

WARNING : as you'll notice in last screen shot, I've not been able to run the downladed apps from Amazon.
While the whole install process goes threw and the apps launch, nor Minion Rush (exit after a few sec) than Candy Crush (waiting screen forever) are functional as I write this post. You may want to wait some detailled instructions that will eventualy lead you to better results before proceeding blind, as I did.

Yet, it is still exciting to note I've not tricked anything (uh, yes, the leak, of course) to get there.
Unfortunately, I'm short timed and must quit my experimentation ... for today.

PS: You'll get all the ambassador's envy for this early acces when we can't load the leak on our Z10s.

There have been a few post stating that is works great, but no screenshots that I've seen and not as many post as you would expect if this were working perfectly. Of course most of us on BB10 are running Z10 STL 2,3,4 or Z30, but I think there are enough Q10 and Q5 owners that this should be burning up the forums at this point.

Of course if could be a licensing problem between Amazon and France.... maybe only the Canadian Amazon Store works for now????

Noticed something interesting then; that my Amazon appStore profile did recognize my (? RIM ?) Q10 while I thought It'll get listed (if ever) at best as "unknown (android?) device".

If it force closes try to open it again. Try like 5-6 times.

Even in the official release when side loading a converted apk to bar Candy Crush will sometimes force close.

I posted a screenshot here. The Amazon Store downloads and you can log into your account and see everything. It downloads and installs Android apps easily but the apps open then close without running.

Really? On Kindle at least, I have always needed to edit it from Android Runtime to something more fitting. Interesting...

A had downloaded Angry Birds Star Wars free edition earlier and when I tried the app would launch and then close. I just tried it again and it is working, I don't know if it was because I rebooted.

So it looks as if you will be able to load apps directly from Amazon.

Just checked the Amazon Store and it actually says:
Compatibility with your devices
RIM Q10 5
samsung SGH-M919 2
See all devices

So they are acknowledging the Q10

So I've got it running, but it's telling me that my country "Canada" isn't supported, and I should check my billing and payment information?

Problem is I think I'm using the same username and password for amazon.com as I am amazon.ca, so how do I get the app to pick the right one?

For that matter, how do I log out?

I got Netflix and Candy crush from the Amazon store, and both worked initially.

Netflix still works fine, but CC has not worked since I played it until level 15 or so and ran out of lives. After closing the app while waiting for more lives it has not started up since even after re-installing.

Same issues, all android apps crash. Has everyone restored from a backup? I was thinking of reloading and not using my backup to see if that made a difference as all my old android ports don't even work now.

I didn't restore from a backup and have the same issue. Most of the apps from amazon crash, some work sometimes. But not reliable. Also have the orientation problem. Z10STL100-4/10.2.1.1055

For the orientation problem try to use the rotation lock in settings before launching the app
