i have read about such a issue in some thread but didn't find the answer.
so the problem is that all the keyboard's prediction and correction settings are not working on my blackberry z3 like word suggestions, swipe to delete, word substitution etc. Even the earth like symbol to change the language mode of keyboard has gone(photo attached).

please don't suggest rebooting or hard reset as i have tried them all.

The problem started after i deleted some unnecessary sys file to increase some phone memory. if it is due to this then can u please suggest what sys file is responsible for that and how to get this back. i am missing all the branded and important features of blackberry keyboard. please help........

Keyboard's prediction and correction gestures are not working......-img_20150903_024721.png

You should edit your post to say you deleted some necessary sys files.

    Either run the latest autoloader:

    https://drive.bitcasa.com/send/6tMMp...HSskc99qJD4kQ/

Or for a an attempt at a non-destructive solution, refresh your apps using Sachesi. What exact OS are you on now? You can navigate to that specific OS in Thurask's archive above, and extract the apps from that specific autoloader.

I think sys.data.imf.root may be the keyboard. But you may have deleted some necessary language (or other) files. I'd load all the apps to be sure. Sachesi will only load new apps anyway.

I have had this problem before but I was using my phone and it all randomly stopped working. The only solution I found was to reload the OS

A restore doesn't reload missing system files. Use Sachesi as I suggested above.

Then I guess an autoloader is required. Somehow your settings have been corrupted.

Hard to say which file was responsible. Sometimes a seemingly innocent file can be important.

    Anyway, glad it works!
